Departmental Career Programming

Let the Office of Career Development support you in helping your students learn about the relationships between majors and careers.  Do not hesitate to contact Kate Brooks to jointly develop career programming based on your needs.  Examples include:

  • Alumni and employer panels to discuss skills developed through majors are used in the workplace
  • Sourcing career related speakers to  motivate students with information on internships and jobs
  • Tailored departmental workshops regarding the relationships between majors and careers
  • Attending faculty meetings to share current employment trends of our students
  • Open houses for lower-division students who are exploring career aspects of majors and minors
