The one thing every student should do before any real interview: complete a mock interview and get feedback on it. Everything below supports that goal.
Get the basics down

Know the format you’re walking into

Virtual and Phone Interviews Remote interviews fail for reasons in-person ones don’t – bad lighting, lag, distractions. Read this the day before any virtual interview, not the hour before.
Practice before it counts
Practice Interviewing This is the single highest-leverage thing on this page. Students who record and review a practice interview walk in noticeably sharper. Do this before anything else!
Mock Interview Request Reading about interviewing isn’t the same as doing one. Book this at least a week before your real interview so you have time to act on the feedback.
Grad School Mock Interview Grad school interviews aren’t judged like job interviews. Don’t prep for the wrong one. Book this if grad school is on your list.
